AT A GLANCE
Sweet Bonanza awards symbol-count wins across a tumbling grid, with multiplier symbols appearing during its free-spins feature. The original game needs to be kept separate from Sweet Bonanza 1000 and other related titles when discussing multipliers or return information.
Identify the original before reading a feature claim
Pragmatic Play's original Sweet Bonanza description identifies wins from eight or more matching symbols anywhere on the grid. Four to six scatters trigger ten free spins. During that feature, multiplier symbols range from 2× to 100× and their values are added at the end of a tumble sequence.
Those are the original game's mechanics, not a licence to copy figures from Sweet Bonanza 1000. Keep the full title beside a screenshot or review. A page mentioning a 1,000× multiplier may be discussing another product even when the sweets, colours and general format look familiar.
This is a game explanation. It does not verify Australian cash-play availability; see the Australian context.
Count matching symbols rather than drawing a line
A pay-anywhere win is based on the qualifying count of one symbol type. It is different from tracing a fixed line across reels. Several types of fruit cannot simply be added together to make eight matching symbols.
Open the paytable to see each symbol's count bands and corresponding payout. A count threshold and a payout amount are separate pieces of information: knowing that eight qualify does not identify the payment for every symbol or every larger count.
| What appears | Question answered by the rules |
|---|---|
| Several matching symbols | Does this type reach its paying count? |
| More than one paying type | Which separate awards enter the round total? |
| Scatter symbols | Does a feature trigger or scatter award apply? |
| A multiplier symbol | Is the feature active, and is there a qualifying win? |
Follow one paid round through its tumbles
A tumble continues the current round by removing paying symbols and allowing replacements to occupy the grid. The resulting screens should not automatically be counted as newly purchased spins. Distinguish the initial stake, intermediate awards and the final round total in the history.
For an arithmetic illustration, three component awards of A$0.40, A$0.60 and A$1 total A$2 before any applicable feature multiplier. Counting the displayed running total again as an additional component would overstate the result.
A sequence can stop when no further qualifying win appears. A dramatic first tumble does not establish that another must follow, and a near-threshold group does not create credit towards a later independent round.
Add multiplier values before applying the total
The original feature's multiplier symbols are not separate promises to multiply every subsequent round. Read the sequence settlement: adding multiplier values is different from multiplying those values by each other.
Suppose a hypothetical eligible tumble sequence has A$2 in component wins and applicable multiplier values of 5× and 10×. Their sum is 15×, giving A$30 when applied to A$2. Multiplying 5 by 10 would give 50× and an incorrect A$100 for that illustration.
This example explains the arithmetic only; it predicts neither the symbols nor the awards that will appear. A 100× symbol limit is also not the same statement as a maximum total game win. Those values refer to different parts of the rules.
Find the configuration in the actual information panel
Record the total stake, currency, displayed return information and version before comparing reviews. This guide does not assign one universal RTP to every installation from a provider marketing page. Where an exact percentage is quoted, it should be tied to the identified configuration rather than borrowed from another title.
The Gambling Commission's explanation of RTP concerns long-run return, not a refund owed after a session. A short demonstration cannot verify the figure by producing a few wins.
If a paid feature option is present, read its displayed cost and separate conditions. Do not assume it exists in every market or that a price expressed as a multiple of stake guarantees a comparable prize.
Separate the in-game feature from promotional free spins
A game-triggered feature follows Sweet Bonanza's rules. An operator's free-spins promotion is a separate account arrangement with its own fixed stake, eligibility, expiry and possible wagering condition. The promotion's name does not establish that the in-game feature will trigger.
A demonstration is useful for locating the paytable and understanding the difference between symbols, scatters and multiplier settlement. Its credits are not withdrawable cash, and selected video footage may emphasise a feature rather than ordinary results.
Use the promotional spins guide for account conditions and the RTP guide for statistical claims. If a recorded result seems wrong, retain the full round history rather than only its most colourful screen.
THE DETAILS READERS ASK ABOUT
Questions, answered
Does Sweet Bonanza use ordinary fixed paylines?
The original uses matching-symbol counts anywhere on the grid. Read each symbol’s count bands rather than assuming a line pattern.
Does the original have 1,000× multiplier symbols?
The provider describes 2×–100× symbols during the original feature. Sweet Bonanza 1000 is a separate title.
Are two multiplier symbols multiplied together?
The original description says their values are added for sequence settlement. A hypothetical 5× plus 10× is 15×, not 50×.
Is the multiplier limit the game’s maximum total win?
No. A symbol value and a round win cap are different rules. Do not substitute one for the other.
